My Altura Pro-Gel’s are wearing out and are now not available (in my L size anyway)

So, looking for an alternative for MTB’ing

I ask for MTB specific as sometimes the padding can be positioned more fore or aft… (this is nit picking I know), but any you can recommend are appreciated

    Cheers

raptors off ebay or decathlon cheapo ones – both work for me. Aldi and Lidl ones don’t, material quality has been poor.

My experience of padded inner shorts (liners for baggies) hasn’t been good. Always best to get proper ‘road’ lycra shorts e.g. bib shorts. I’ve never heard anything about the padding being a different shape for MTB – not sure that’s correct. My Endura and Polaris inners have shorter (front to back) padding than equivalent sized ‘road’ shorts.

The most comfortable liner shorts I’ve used are the troylees which came with my ace shorts , not sure if you can get them separate though.
