    Is there any real world difference, other than 50g? They’re half the price on CRC.

    36 hole F/R if it makes a difference.

    erm its the tyre that cuts through the mud mate…

    Prob not OP, Open pros may be a bit stronger due to the profile. Last time I looked there were some DT rims at Open pro weight for open sport money.

    the cxp33 profile helps to stop a build up of mud on the rim mate hence the cutting through the mud. now sit back down

    I had Open Sports on my Jake the Snake and wasn’t impressed with them. Replaced with Planet X A57’s which are much sturdier and not too heavy

    hav’nt had pros, but i have had sports and cpx33. sports are soft like butter, i found they went from true very easily. would not buy again. cpx33 i love, bullet proof.

    When the mud gets deep enough to go over the tyre, a deep rim stops it washing over the rim and allows you to be able to keep on steering properly.
    That’s the hypothesis, anyway.
