Um, I didn't follow the link, but going by the URL...I hate to be pedantic (tongue in cheek), but correcting someone's spelling isn't actually being pedantic!
Being pedantic is all about superfluous unnecessary accuracy just for the sake of accuracy. To enable effective communication it's pretty important that we spell correctly.

LOL at most of those, but David who complains about mis-spelling of Shakespeare really needs to get a clue.
