numpty cheapskate 8spd / 6spd rear mech?

little un has ripped rear mech off her bike 6 spd tourney - looking in box i've got a 7/8speed acera - will this work?

yes just adjust the H and L accordingly

Depends on the original mounting method, a lot of Tourney's had a built in hanger, if yours has then you'll have nowhere to mount the new one.

thanks hadn't even looked at that been and had a quick look and no its a proper hanger so i'll give it go
