It isn’t about Oxbridge admissions, not saying they don’t deserve to study there but common knowledge and always has been people “study” there simply to row and do random degrees masters in general studies or other such like. Alex Woods, Oxford bow been a student for 10 year, 3 degrees, a DPhil now changing to become a Dr….think someone should tell him he is never going to win the boat race and to go out into te real world!!

Is swimming in the Thames restricted otherwise?
Not that it’s something I fancy myself – I reckon I swim about twice a year in a hotel pool, normally just after the steam room and just before a beer in the jacuzzi.
