    Hello,

I am about to fit new wheels (Hope Hoops with Stan’s flow rims) on Bike A and replace knackered wheels on Bike B with good wheels (Mavic CrossMax) from Bike A.

I plan on keeping the cassette with the bike it was originally on unless it’s excessively worn in which case I’ll replace the cassette and chain.
I’m also going to move Fox RL120 from Bike A to Bike B.

Bike A will get a new fork (2010 Revelation) with maxle light, so front wheel will have to be converted.

New fork’s travel will have to be reduced to 140mm.

Apart from reducing the fork travel, it all seems fairly straight forward. Is there anything I should watch out for?

    As ever, thanks in advance…..

    A.
