Recently switched from Pace RC41’s to some 140mm QR15 Micro Ti Bombers.

Must say they have made the bike (and me) much more confident when it gets a bit bumpy – great forks.

I miss the all black look I had previously but they don’t look out of place. Weight’s about 22lb so nice and light too.

Well, where do we start with that. You’ve only posted a photo to show that disgrace of a garden, haven’t you?

That is an absolute shithole. How can you sit and look out of your window at that sorry site? bYou should be ashamed of yourself.

The garden needs tidying up as well.

Sell the bike and get a bloody gardener in ffs!

I see we have a hillbilly chique theme with the shed/garage type thing.

Leave the bloke alone, he’s got at least one new fence panel. Oh, unless thats the neighbours side? 😉

There are plans afoot to sort the garden out – you can see a bit of the new fence there, this bits going to be started on when I get back from ridign the North Downs on Saturday.

The bit you can see is about 60ft from the house so it’s not the first thing you see when you look out the window. The building’s a workshop (bike’s are stored in the garage attached to the house).

The bike does ride really well with these forks.

He’s too busy enjoying riding his bike to worry about his yard – good for him!

Oh come on, that garden is far too good to ignore – and I’m sure wwas is happy to have given us all a bit of a chuckle.

i dont think its his garden, he owns the one behind the new fence panel. He just popped the bike over, took the pic and will use this thread to persuade his neighbor he needs to take action or he is calling nick knowles on his behalf.

    Well, it’s a first. A carbon 456 obscuring something even uglier! 😉

view looking the other way. If you ignore the debris from last weeks fence replacement it’s not too bad.

may post some after pictures once Nick knowles/Me has sorted the rest out…

Some flowers and horticultural variety might be nice.

I’m beginning to think I could be defending myself for sometime to come.

So I shall capitulate – the garden is all a mess and the house is a dogs breakfast of extensions and loft conversions 🙂 But, I’ve got a workshop, a shed, a 25ft garage and my own office so there’s some pluses.

    And it’s home.

oh, and it was 21 lb with the Pace forks and I reckon the Bombers have added abotu a 1lb.

Perhaps I should have posted this pic?

Haha, all that work and not a single comment. STW is only interested in bad news obviously.

Anyway, that looks much better now you’ve turned it into a zen garden. Well done.

    <10yr old new-estate lego-box house.
    Passat Estate/Octavia in the drive.
    B&Q/Wickes catalogue garden.

I liked the original garden. It had character. And what kid wouldnt love something like that old spider filled shed to play in.

I preffered the all-black stealth thing but the new forks look good.

I feed the spiders by the door – keeps the rest of the family out as they don’t like them 🙂

the slate has all gone a bit bluer now it’s been rained on a bit and the dust’s washed off…
