    Just stripped my Blur down for it's Spring service, & found a seized BB bearing. Also pitted/rusted wear on the Raceface crank spindle.

    New drive gear all round required!

    Certainly not Raceface.

    Shimano XT M770 looks favourite at the mo – fairly regular looking, but (from reports I'm reading) relatively bombproof.

    SLX cranks are pretty similar to XT but much cheaper…definatly worth a look.

    Can't go wrong with XT! Run them on all my bikes!!
