So some computery nerd-type **** keep accessing my Yahoo mail account abroad(Latvia,Lithuania,Brazil,Philippines,Poland) and sending out phishing email messages to all my contacts. What are the risks to my computer/devices I use to access Yahoo?

Apologies to anyone on here who may have received one.

So I’ve reported it to Yahoo, they just seem to say change my password – which I have done several times since it started but it makes no difference.

My question is if I close this account – which I’ve had for over 10 years – what do I need to do for all my online stuff? i.e Facebook, this place, online shopping, Ebay & paypal etc – do I need to inform them of a new email address? is there anything else I might be missing
