Just waiting for the new wheels coming on Monday
But its green!!....lovin the pink bit tho..
Hi there Gav.....Im sure you can guess what hubs are in the new wheels....BTW, Ive named it Shrek....
One of these? Though I can't make out the pink bit...

... nice Madone, lucky lucky. I'm 40 this year, do you think I could have one too?
one as in one gear.............you hard geyt.....
mogrim....that would do as a track bike
That`s where it all started bighendo......No flames on mine though......
mmmmproject one madone. Someones' been a good boy.
Int bein 40 great
indeed!
Someones' been a good boy...
I`m allways good
Liar
I bought myself a Yeti big top for my 40th.....lovely
OK, this is a whole new thread.
I'm 40 in about 20 weeks time. Time to start hoarding incontinence pants?
I`ve started using Huggies Pull Ups
Finally finished and ready to go.....

So worng but soooo right.
Shorten the rear mech cable. It's too long and therefore too pink :O)
Oh, wait a min. Is that a COMPACT chainset? (showing your age if so)
Nowt wrong with compacts certaily where i live as we`re surrounded by steep hills.......
I agrre with the rear cable but i didnt build it...Not this time as it was done at the LBS as part of the deal.....Its the only bike i`ve never built
Stoney,
that looks Ace, you will enjoy it, no doubt. BTW what are the bars? what and where from the rims?
You now hoping for some fine weather?
How do you play the Wii when your TV is so small?
What make is the frame and wheels?
pink cable outers, lack of commitment on steerer length and compact chainset = ATGNI FAIL
enjoy
Hmmm - trying hard not to treat myself to bike #5 - also 40 this year.
Tempted by one of these... can't decide on kawa green with white forks, kawa green with black back end + forks, or custard with white forks, or...

(hope they're visible if you're not registered)
Pooley....,
The bars are standard Bonty as is the stem....I might change them for a nice Thomson X2 and carbon bars.
The wheel rims are actually the same rims as one of the Campag sets (Bora) i think, tubular and i had them built by Derek at Wheelsmith, they are really light as well.
you can check out the Projekt website for their builds...
I havent actually rode it in anger yet so i havent committed to the steerer length
Weight 15lbs
Andyrocketeer....I`d go for the Green n White ....
Tell ya what cocker, we wont bloody loose you.
stoney... that was my first choice, until someone posted up custard frame. Most seem to go for black with white forks which looks wrong, and some even white wheel and trim (to make it look even wronger). Green and White (with some red hints to match the red hint in the logo) it is then...
Nice 1 andy
Hi there Lowey....you`ll see me coming a mile of......Literally
aw, wish i was 40
Happy Birthday chap. Not my cup of tea, but then I dont have to ride it.
FWIW De-sticker the rims, go all black. Black seat mast, black saddle. Chop the steerer, Thomson stem, black bar tape, green Hudz, silver cable outers.
oh, and 52-39
you mean 39-53?
is it noob evening?
Recon i`ll stick with the compact...Gone have the days of pounding up 1/4 hills like Honister on the old 42/21.....
You only get 1 set of knees!
Edit After watching Lance for all them years i changed the way i peddaled..."Pedal not Push"
Logotastic, why can't top end roadie makers do subtle? Nice, for a roadbike, but I'd spend the first few days peeling 90% of the stickers off.
Don't like the pink bits tho sorry.
I like that! Suitably lairy.
Being a bit green to the world of roadie, whats the deep dish rim for? Is it for aero?
Who makes those frames? It's hard to make out
Logotastic
Like the green-n-white-n-pink, but i'd still choose red for the "highlights".
Just priced up my Green-n-White 40th prezzy... €4040... ouch!
