any thoughts on on one mungo bars?

suffering from tennis elbow in one arm, maybe developing it in the other!
have had two injections and physio.
maybe i need a higher rise to compensate. can they be flipped?

have ridden with flats for the winter with a long answer manitou stem from the 1990's, which may lock the arms out.have had some marys which were very good.

whatever i have to keep riding!

I have to say I think mary bars put your hands and arms in an unstressed position – I have no experience of mungo bars but they look to me like they would stress joints.

Are you sure its the bike that is causing the tennis elbow?

I use mary bars daily for 40 min commute. Supreme comfort and cured my dodgy lower back from bad riding position.

well, its old age and a bit of everything!

i like the mary's they were good, but crap for mounting lights, ending up with a cross eyed double lamp scenario! flats made them go straight, bring on spring and no lights.

i like the mungo's hoping for a shopper type ride on a mountain bike!

on a simalar note, we got my mum a specialised hardrock, put a wicker basket on the front, panniers on the back. still riding at 71! and does the santiago trail every year in spain…………..

if your fitting mungos to a mountain bike be aware that they are road bike size so your brakes and shifters wont fit
