Can't get pages to load (or at best they take several minutes). Its been like this for a while and I've ignored it, but there's something I could do with checking now. I guess its something to do with all the ads?

It works OK-ish for me atm. That site is a total dog's breakfast, unfortunately, as there's some great content on the forums there. It's always slow / glitchy in recent years IME.

I had this a while back, but it seems to have fixed itself. In my case the text of the site was loading but it took several minutes to load the graphics.

is it threads with shed loads of posts?
Try "My Account" --> "Edit Options" and scroll down to "Thread Display Options". "Linear - Oldest First"

Nothings loading. It just sits there with a blank screen saying "waiting for forums.mtbr.com"
IE7 (I think) on a Samsung NC10 netbook if that's any help. To be honest everything is a bit slower than it used to be, but this is the only site that simply will not play ball. I'm on a bloody quick internet connection though. Disc clean up & defrag done a couple of days back with no difference
