Spent a lot of time on my backside Sunday, Iv got a pair of DC trainers with little grip. I need some new trainers, I like the look of the five ten as these are the type of trainers I normally wear, skateboard ish. But I think the five 10 is a little above my budget for mtb trainers, what alternatives are there at a good price?

I have five tens but also use Salomon trail shoes but to be fair are around the same price, but cheaper brands/sales are available.

Checkout the sombrio shoes/high tops at Chain Reaction.
Awesome grip and don’t look too bad, fairly cheap too.

What pedals are you using? That could make a difference too.

Nike 6.0 are not as grippy as five 10’s, but more grip that skate shoes,
look good, last pretty well and can be found cheap.
