Seen as it’s sunday I started off with a bit of Arvo Part (Symphony No. 4 followed up with I am the True Vine, you know, just to put me in the mood).
i’d dug out some old stuff I’ve not listened to for a while. Perhaps the most relevant (bearing in mind the Getz/Gilberto) would be Rodrigo y Gabriela (features a version of stairway to heaven strongly influenced by Stanley Jordan...). The Idiot, Radio Ethiopia, Lust for Life, Where You Been and Lie Down in the Light have all been given an airing too...
about to grind my second coffee post lunch.
