According to the Mensa FAQ you have to have an IQ of 132 or above. I thought it was for really smart people. Someone should invent a society for really clever people, not television presenters and failed inventors.

Well that shows how thick you are then.
It depends on which test you use apparently. On the Culture Fair Test, 132 is effectively a pass. Obviously since GCSE results get better every year, people must be getting smarter every year so this must rise all the time.
