does anyone know if you can make memeory map GPS systems align the map with the direction you are traveling.

i can’t seem to get my left and right correct at speed with my little brain.

In a word no. Nice idea though.

Maybe the MM Tracker for Andriod will one day have this facility.

Chances of MM’s own kit featuring this = zero.

Do other GPS units does this?

On my Garmin Edge 605 you can have ‘North up’ or ‘track up’. It is found under: settings -> map -> orientation. I assume all Garmin units can do this?

The Satmap Active 10 also lets you choose North Up or Track Up.

Track Up does drain the battery faster though, as it has to redraw the display more frequently as you twist and turn.
