Hi All, if anyone was wondering whether the Exo tyres work tubeless I can confirm they seal perfectly with not a single bubble from the sidewalls.

I fitted HR2’s this week on my Flows and not lost a single psi.

    Cheers

29er exo ikon went up with no sealant, put some in anyway mind (on American Classic XC wheels).

I have exo ardents and a 3C Minion

they have been perfect on both 5.1 and stans rims all tubeless.

Oh and I always use sealant

Maxxis EXOs are my tyre of choice for tubeless.

The last set I did was Ikon EXOs on Crest 29ers: fitted and sealed without even needing washing up liquid. Added some sealant in case of punctures: rode!

Hi Aidan. No problems with flint cuts on those? Perhaps I was just unlucky with mine…sliced it within a few weeks. £50 tyre, I nearly cried!

EXO wouldn’t hold onto the rim well enough for me on the rear, too much “getting awesome” resulted to too many hairy moments.

    On the front however, perfect.

Advantage 2.4 went up and sealed as if it were tubeless ready for me… Nice.

Surprised at cuts on EXO’s, Mine survive rock/flint really well

Aidan, how do you find the ikons? Any good if the going gets muddy?

Use ardent exo’s on the rear and went up fine. Last time I was cleaning my bike off after riding in the lakes I noticed a big slash in the tyrewall which hadn’t caused the tyre to go down. So in my eyes a big thumbs up because they do exactly as they say on the tin.
