MAC & Time Machine backup problems...

I keep getting this Time Machine Error message popping up;

"Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while copying files to the backup volume."

To be honest I dont know where to start with this... have done all the usual switch off and restart stuff and there's loads of space on the disk.

Any ideas chaps?

I had a similar problem, it was actually with the external hard drive, it needed to go back to Western Digital and be replaced. Have you got applecare? If so, call them and they'll sort you out. They are excellent, but I reckon the problem is with EHDD
