Yep that looks so good it makes me want to go out tomorrow on my Dialled Alpine. Would quite like one of those 'steel is real' decals.

What on Earth has she gone and done now.....
Ooh, it does look very cute though dun't it? Like a baby bike!

It is indeed very tiny - seat tube is a touch under 13" - I have finally found the meaning of the word 'chuckable' that you bigger folks seem to use so much
. . . although earlier it seemed that the Holeshot was doing most of the chucking

Ok Mama - what Dialled model is your new frame and what size please? Doesn't look like anything available on the Dialled site.
Love small bikes and your latest looks fantastic!

As ever, mamadirt, an(other) impeccably put together little bicycle. Props!

Ha! I was going to suggest a dialled holeshot, but thought it wouldn't like the lyrics - looks great in white...

This one lasted a while! http://www.southerndownhill.com/forum/index.php/topic,255698.0.html
The above combined with http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/fs-new-commencal-saddle-and-316mm-alienation-pivotal-seatpost makes me take a wild guess that mamadirt has gone for a bouncy frame again in the form of a commencal absolut sx (post and saddle oe on these frames)?
Apologies but i'm bored and i love the weekly mamadirt build threads, they make my frame swapping habit seem quite reserved!

Are you spying on me Steve
. . . thought I could slip this one uinder the radar, but yeah, you're right
. The Holeshot is absolutely lovely and pretty much the perfect hardtail for me . . . but I miss the squish
. I'd keep both if I could afford to.

Love it!

Lol yeah sorry about that, i'm a regular on sdh as well and spotted your frame the other day - i let friday night pass without a curry and bike build thread, gave you another chance last night then when i saw your for sale ad for the seatpost i though i'd take a wild guess and get you to fess up! Looks ace, finish it nicely with some odi troy lee's in bright orange
edit: These ones http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ODI-Troy-Lee-Grips-Lock-On-Mountain-Bike-BMX-ORANGE-/130574809220?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item1e66dd7884 brighter than the photo suggests too.Posted 7 months ago # -
Oooh, they're nice . . . but £18.79
. . . firmly installed in the wishlist though

You're selling it already!?!?
Dear christ.

Saw this on eBay....no way....how can you sell it!?
I want to buy it for Mrs but if I brought the frame not sure I could afford a build to justify the frame for budget we want to spend on an occasional bike.

She's not, is she??
Sweet Jesus of Nazareth.
Mind, I shoon't be surprised really, by now....
(Wanders off, shaking head in despair..)

Part of me is almost secretly hoping that it doesn't sell
- it really is very, very nice, but I desperately need the cash to fund the new build . . . I don't know how the flink I get myself into these situations . . . I just love building bikes so much
Reckon I need a job with enough disposable income to fund a new build every Friday . . . or failing that, a job building (and test-riding) bikes.

Your crazy & I'm envious!
I might put in a cheeky bid

Aha . . . any pics? Wanna sell it back?
Just browsing through my old 'what tiny hardtail' posts to save posting a new one (there've been one or two)
. I flinkin' love squish . . . but I love having spare cash more

We've turned it into a tiny little Cotic Soul for mrsbunk - she's taken it on a few night rides and she loves it! Haven't seen it in daylight yet!
Still trying to persuade her that 1x9 will be fine, but think I'm going to lose that argument, so I'm trying to work out how to attach a front mech...
I haven't put any pics up as it's a work in progress (read - your build looked way nicer) - waiting for new seat post, stem and bars to finish it off and maybe then I'll post a pic...
Wanna sell it back?
I despair...

I despair...
You despair? Think of her poor family...
Posted 6 months ago # -
He he . . . it's OK, I have something else in the pipeline now
shhhhhh. MrsBunk - 1x9 will be fine . . . lighter too . . . trust me
. I haven't run a front mech for years - if it can't be climbed in 34/30 it's probably quicker to get off and push anyway
. Enjoy!!
