Red tyre walls on a blue frame?
Cant bin the tyres just cos I am changing the frame!
nothing wrong with a bit of colour, i reckon it will look good
Well done for using an old black dust sheet to protect your beige carpet.
The wife will be impressed.
I reckon something will be missing or won't fit so you won't be able to ride it today.
i love having a day off work to bikebuild..................
you lucky fecker..........
Have fun, but sadly Dobbo is right..
Is this little chainring clearance on the granny normal? I am using two spaces on the drive side and one on the non drive size. Seems pretty close to me
Does the frame look that 'blue' or does the camera bring it out more? ie make it lighter?
Presuming its 'Strong Blue'?

If I can't get it done in 3 hours, I'm slacking!
Spannering is very therapeutic though, yes.
i can strip a bike down to the frame in 18mins and build one in 1hr30mins

And then it falls apart 37.4 seconds into the first ride.
Are you including cutting the steerer, cutting and bleeding brake hoses and building the wheels form scratch in that though?
no it lasts atleast 1hr
i get more fun out of building/fettling with bikes that i do riding the damn things!
its in the lounge, go on son.
that "dust cover" looks more like a black rug?
Seems pretty close to me
I spy with my little eye.....
CHAINSUCK.

That, as any owner will tell you, is better than an 853 Inbred. I had 2mm between big ring and chainstay (The thickness of a HT2 spacer) which eventually caused, err, a 'problem' shall we say..
I'd say you'll be fine with that though.
Taka your right it is a black rug - a cheap £10 job from ikea perfect for bike building on!
Ok everything is on now just sorting out the cables and then a few adjustments and it should be good to go!
What no last min run to the LBS? unbeleivable, have you swapped it from another on one or something?
Yes I think you'll find that's his prized Gorrila skin rug there.
Clearance was tight on my 853 geared.
I knew it was a black rug FFS.
Lets see some pics of it all together then?
nimrod2410 should have put in a
don't want you bursting a blood vessel on a Friday do we
Is it built yet?
Old git.
I did put a **** smiley **** face
at the **** end.
You'll have a corona, as the great Arthur Daly would say.
Anyway this thread needs a live feed to the Gorilla skin Inbred build.
Maybe I am a bit tense today.
Just had a Polish rant on the chat forum, always calms me down after getting it off my chest.
Ok then its all together just got to put the chain on, set up the gears and adjust al the controls seat etc and then it is done!
you need a bit more seatpost showing...
Niiiicccceeee...........
Is that the new Blue frame that they had the decal issue with?
Looks good, my buy one myself?
your front mech cable looks a bit short......
Haha! I was gonna say that bigbloke.
Hard to tell from this angle, but it also looks like the loop of outer to your rear mech may be a bit 'generous'.
Ok so was all going too well. All built up and just about to go on a quick test ride to check the set up and adjusted the seatpost...and then the seat clamp broke! So no test ride today for me - just trying to sort out another seat clamp now! But here it is so far without the seat!
