So how long do I have to wait for this to go?

Went to the doctor on Monday who gave me some anti-biotics which I’m on until Wednesday, but it doesn’t seem to feel much better. still hacking cough and general under the weather feeling. Told it is acute broncitis. I have eased off the hot toddies though!

How long is lingering?
If you are still on a course of ABx, then 1)lucky you for getting them!, and 2)wait and complete the course…?

I was ill with cold/flu and chest infection symptoms from January 28th until about 3 days ago.

After several weeks of having a cough and sore throat I succumbed and went to the GP; been prescribed a week of amoxicillin, which I find always makes my piss stink.

Of course, being (a) Type 1 diabetic and (b) a teacher surrounded by kids all day doesn’t help.

Have had a cold for about 5 weeks now. Normally a bad one for me will last about a week and can generally be ignored. It’s driving me bonkers. Feel fine now, but still producing vast amounts of snot and coughing up greenies.
