Just built a lightweight s/s rear wheel to replace my XC717 rim, revolver hub and WI freewheel

So I built a 717 rim on DT comp spokes and a Hope s/s hub with a Surly 17t sprocket

And turk me sideways the fuggin thing ends up 30g heavier 😳

spend more get more eh 🙄

Fill your tube with Hydrogen, it should make up for the extra weight 😆

Ah no dear chap that was naked wheels only , but now they are tubeless with the poverty ghetto method so 30 g saved and no betterr off 😥

Fuggin frustrating though could of saved a load of dosh and just not bothered

I could of made 125ltr of homebrewe wine or 800pts of beer for that price

    AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH 👿

try the bontrager carbon wheels, bloody good and stiff. You don't really need ss specific wheels
