yes – I asked about alpkit jaran in that post – a few people weren’t too sure so I asked for other options here

    got a problem with that?

    How much?
Loads of lightweight options but can get pricey.

Nigor WikiUp 3 for example. Very light for its size.

    That looks a bit pricey – £200 – £250?

I have a Spirt 200 Lite and it is of a similar configuration to a Vango tempest 300 which is used lots by the Scouts and D of E.

Not sure if this fits the weight/cost requirements though.

I thought Scouts used orange cotton Vango Force Tens and just had to put up with them weighing more than the Moon??

edit – my information might be about 30 years out of date, btw!

Very impressed by my MSR Hubba Hubba – like this one ….

Pricey new but I was lucky enough to get a used bargain from this forum 🙂

I bought a Robens Voyager 3EX tent last year.
Light, really well made and easy to pitch.

Plenty of space inside and the porch bit is large so it can take quite a bit of stuff. I put my HT in there overnight with chair and boxes while doing the 24/12.
