As an easy to drink beers I like leffe but sometimes those corks seriously piss me off. I mean who thought ramming a cork into a bottle and making the cork **** slippery smooth. Hey leffemeisters take a look at a champagne cork – nice and grippy see.

I find that pushing the cork slightly up and across and working my way round the cork, before a tug on the end of it always lets me get at the beer!

put tea towel over cork, get better grip with tea towel, twist bottle (rather than cork), same as you should with champers/sparkling.
