Desperately need to change our car – leasing is an option we're considering..
As I'm I sole trader, I'm told i get pretty steady tax breaks etc but there has to be much more too it that paying the monthly charge and keeping an eye on the annual mileage?
So, please, hit me with the good, bad and 'bewares' of leasing.
Should it make a difference, we're looking at an estate car, nowt fancy – whatever of best VFM – bikes and now a dog to transport…
    Cheers

Beware of hidden charges / recharges for various things, excess mileage, tyres etc etc.

Better off buying a used car that's a few years old it's too much hassle, luke is right BEWARE!

Its expensive and you won't own it.

Work out how much the lease costs are for the first year (plus any deposit). Spend this on a car.

I thought it looked reasonable, but my mileage would've been borderline, and I'd have got stung going over.
