I get occasional periods where my knee needs a tubular bandage as it hurts to walk. This is after 3 cartilage operations it still swells up every now again. It’s never a problem riding but this weekend I have to do a big road ride and my knee is hurting at the moment.
Here is my question. I wear a tubular elasticated support when off the bike, but do people think I should still wear it when I am riding?
I am minded not to wear it when riding as it may constrict and overheat the knee too much and just put the support on after the ride for the standing up time at the bar…..Any thoughts?
