Youngest daughters first day in pre-school today. One of the teachers called her chicken, her reply was “im not called chicken my name is Isla”.
Cheered up my Monday morning anyway.

Did she have the matching look on her face? As if to say; “what on earth is this madwoman talking about?”. That’s what normally makes it 😀

I shall recall this story about someone who shall remain nameless

Coming back from the supermarket, with a friends little girl, bags loaded up with shopping. A loud clanking of bottles emitting from said bags. In this case they were olive oil and suchlike.

The next door neighbour on hearing the clanking of bottles remarks ‘sounds like someone’s in for a good night’

Before she could reply, the little girl says “Oh no, that’s not wine. She doesn’t buy that in bottles. She buys her wine in great big boxes”

Quality! 🙂
