Presume CNC LASER fabrication. Once set up, they can't cost more than a pound or two to produce. I can't think of anything else that's so amazingly priced.

Supply and demand - ecconomies of scale etc. Front disks for my Ducati are £200 each.
Crash helmets, I got a Giro Xen and a Lidl, both the same comfort, both the same crash tests and certification EN1078, both the same manufacturing techniqe, both the same parts count, both have the same features, one is in the region of £70 the other was £8.
No-one has to justify it while you carry on buying it. Cheaper braking systems are available, but we have decided that they are old hat and don't use them.
They'll be Brembo floating cast iron for a guess, and they're still a rip off. You've both failed if you were trying to justify it.
You can buy a whole bike in Tesco for that much, whilst they may not be up to much, there's certainly more work & material in them - miles better value.
conversely imperial 203 rotor about 14 quid posted. 'a fool and his money' is the only thing to see here.
Other makes of rotors that fit are available, such as wavy 203mm ones for £13.41.

Depends if you call a bike that more than likely fails after one proper off road ride good value I guess?
