    so were the other oscar nominees just awful this year? i didn’t see anything special in Kate’s performance, an interesting film yes, outstanding? hmmm

    and did the first half have to just consist of her bonking a ’15’ year old boy? i didn’t think the full frontal nudity was needed in nearly every scene either

    I thought it was pretty OK. Managed to keep me interested enough to keep watching but I won’t be watching it again.

    The book is amazing. Haven’t tried watching the film incase it’s sh1te.

    However, now you’ve mentioned full frontal nudity….

    Is that based on the French one, called La Lectrice, starring the utterly gorgeous and preposterously named Miou-Miou?
