T’wife is doing her own thing this evening and I’m varnishing furniture for our daughter’s dolls house 🙄 in front of the DVD.

Which Bond film should I go for. I have them all.

Leaning towards a bit of classic Roger. Spy Who Loved Me or Moonraker.

What would the Hive Mind pick?

If your suggestion is “none of them” you need not contribute.

For some classic Roger Moore, it has to be Man with the Golden Gun imo. If not for the utter cheese then for THAT car jump. Add to that, Maud Adams and you’re on to a winner

Forget the Moore, Dalton is where it’s at.

(Fully aware this may well be a minority view).

Hmmm… The Living Daylights was on the shortlist.

Just remembered that my brother in law still has my Quantum Of Solace. I may have to eliminate him.

Obviously you realise that you can’t just eliminate him straight away. You need to keep him hostage and very slowely explain and demonstrate how your elimination will take place, therefore giving him enough time to escape.

You should at least come up with a typical James Bond quote once you’ve eliminated him…. 😀

Hmmm… watched License To Kill last night and it was bobbins. Bond has to be either cool or charming, being a thug on its own isn’t enough. Dalton’s Bond was just a boorish thug. There was one scene where he is rescued by Richard Gere’s missus from a bar fight when she blows a hole in the wall with a shot gun. Upon their escape Bond tells her she’s a “Bloody Fool” and she should leave this kind of work to the professionals. Ungrateful git. She should have blown a hole in him too (put that innuendo in there as a homage to Roger Moore).

BTW. How did she get into a bar full of drug dealers whist wearing next to nothing with a concealed pump action shotgun?

    Connery – Cool / Thug
    Lazenby – Cool(ish)
    Moore – Charming
    Dalton – Thug
    Brosnan – Cool / Charming
    Craig – Cool / Thug

Next up. The Spy Who Loved Me or Quantum of Solace, if I ever get it back.
