You could play MP3’s and browse the web using a 100Mhz 486 based PC, so a modern netbook should be fine for your purposes if it has a big enough disk.

Just so long as itunes is an efficient, well written application.

How do I transfer my ITunes from my desktop to my netbook?

Copy all the music files to your netbook, install itunes (though IMO why? I hate itunes – only have it because I need it for my iphone).

This may be an issue 😛 I’ve always found it to be utter shite.

If it’s any help, I’m running iTunes (almost) on an Athlon 1700 with 256MB RAM which I bought 10 years ago.
The phone I connect to it is more powerful, but it does work!!

So you’ll be fine on a netbook.
