    yesterday after 3 1/2 hours of riding mcmoonter refused a piece of damn fine looking chocolate cake in the cafe, dear carlton is this a record ?

    Sure is! No chance of a repeat performance in Ullapool though.

    Oh and what tyres for Flotsom & Jetsom?

    I'll be going for tractor tyres to stand a chance of getting across the many swollen burns on the way…

    Stuartie, we rode the coastal path from Musselburgh to North Berwick yesterday. Tuesday night's storm washed up masses of Flotsom & Jetsom as well as washing away roads and footpaths. We even rode over one bridge that was floating!
