I do struggle with the beer intake balance before a 7 am ride the next morning. Anymore than 5 pints is a real

Now I've finished the most monumental piece of work I'm taking a short break. And thus, that's the first pint of Reverend James poured. Beef stew is coming on nicely in the oven too, smelling great. Mates are around soon for some top nosh (thanks Mrs Ambrose). It's pi55ing down and dark- but the beers and ciders are ready and the fire is lit. Life is pretty good.

I'm afraid with me it's cheap strong cooking lager. I can't resist a bloody great box of the stuff for a tenner.

I opened a bottle of fizz in the office this afternoon as I finished my phd thesis! I then proceeded to submit the thesis half cut to the relavent people and now Im heading out for a some a few JD's and coke. The feeling is geat!

Lose the coke dude! JD is fine straight.

hmmm, well I've just returned from Peaty's world championship win celebration party and all I can say is that these things always look better in the magazines! Dull, dull, dull. . . . Queuing thirty mins for a warm beer and surrounded by teenagers off thee t*ts on sherbert!

Real shame as I didn't even get to say hello to steve although I did drool at his v10 . . .
