i have a 20" on one inbred and am looking at xt front mechs but have no idea what size to get. anyone able to help?

I have just built a 18" 29er. I used an oversize cheap XTR mech and bought a shim for £3 from Chain reaction.

28.6mm I think the new XT mechs are multisize anyway.
