I’m thinking, a nice glass of red

Been 7 or 8 years and do wonder sometimes what drink I would choose if I started drinking again

I wouldn’t bother after 4-5 months without why bother – you don’t need it.

Never been a big drinker, and you’re right, I don’t need it, hasn’t even bothered me to not drink, however, I do fancy a glass of something tomorrow, just because I can really

It would depend where I was, who I was with and what we were eating… preferences independent of that would be a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc – perhaps a Greywacke – or a nice crisp lager – Peroni if I were having pizza with it!

    Good point Markie,

Wife will be out, kids will be asleep, and I’ll probably be on here or watching the telly.

Peroni has just thrown a curve ball in, got me thinking of Asahi Super-Dry

………..it would have been for a bet and since i’d have won £500 it would be all the beers left to right then right to left across the optics.

Think me and Jon had lunch in there once when out riding. Might be worth a slow pootle up, you reckon?

Sounds like a great idea Paul, when you thinking? Away this weekend for Sazs birthday but maybe the weekend after? Slow pootle is all i can do at the moment as my back is knackered again!

If I hadn’t had a drink since October I wouldn’t have spent a shocking amount of money on self-aneathetising.

Oh and that beer brewed with honey is truly awful.

i went through a similar situation a while back and ending up having 2 pints of white dog beer that is brewed by an english guy in the hills above modena. It felt like the right time to break the elimination diet but i felt awful in the morning!

Glass of red sounds good but should be with some decent chow too.

I had one of these bought for me on Saturday. Cannot reccommend it highly enough! 🙂

My choice when I was in a similar position was a Schneider Weisse and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Like Markie said, depends on the situation… go with what you fancy most
