Does anyone know if this is possible? Having read in a few places that it isn’t possible due to the lopes link however Burgtec seem to offer it. Want to slacken the bike out a little so any help would be great.

I’ve wondered this on mine, would be great to slacken it a degree and steepen the seat angle. But I’ve read the same things as you it seems and am now looking at Works Components as they are attempting to do an IS angle headset

for both you’ll need a hacksaw and hammer too. 😉

There is a thread(s) on mtbr (Ibis forum) and I think yes you can run them, but it puts you into the rear shocks mid-stroke quickly, where it can be a bit soft. Adding an air volume reducer kit might help with that, I already run the middle size in my RP23 on my SL. I’ve thought about it, but am waiting for a works component compatible headset. They are working on a IS headset for carbon frames, but it has been a while
