Changed my BB last night - a cartidge octalink type. Been in the frame a few years, has been immersed in salt water and left wet and loads of other abuse. 'cos it had been copaslipped it just came straight out without issue. Its so nice not to worry about corroded seized parts. Not had a stuck bold on the bike for a long time

+1 for Coppaslip.
I have a 500g tub with a cut-down toothbrush to coat all my threads.
As you say, it just works.

Always does a lovely job on Thomson stem bolts as they can really squeal when undoing them without it.
Plus so little needed...my kids will inherit the can of it I have

Any brand in particular?

Nope - the cheapest generic variant I could get. I could check what brand it is for yo if you want
