I am in need of a hydro hose cutting tool.

All it’s for is cutting my brake lines, tried the kitchen knife which made a right mess of them.

Any reason to get the Avid £70 one over the £10 Jagwire ?

Normal rope cutters will do the job perfectly well

Plastic pipe cutters are very effective – from DIY or plumbing store.

Normal cutters and a hammer.

Stanley knife works just fine.

Very sharp chisel works well.

Not for braided though…

I used the clippers we use for our guinea pigs claws. Nice and neat and cheap from pets at home.
