As above, I am on call this weekend and my wife is off to a wedding reception so we are having one of my receptionists from work over to babysit.

How about some flowers/chocolates/beauty salon vouchers type thing? Bit more personal than money, and won’t cause as much embarrassment hopefully.

Haven’t asked her but I have worked with her for years. I am sure if my wife was to pay her she would accept. Otherwise as you say it’s flowers and/or Vodka!
