I used to get out loads on the bike but new job, work being done on the house and not enough time and energy means I'm down to 2-3 times a week.
How often do you get out and why don't you do it more?

Cycle to work four days a week. Rest on a Saturday. Ride Sunday. I'd like to do more cycling but I have a dog and I like to spend time with her.

One mtb session a week unfortunately. No time through the week with work/kids. Getting three gym sessions in during the week, but can't wait to get out on the bike on a weekend!

5 lots of 14 mile commutes and then normally a 2/3 hour ride Saturday, training on a Thursday and a turbo session on a Tuesday night.

Twice a week most weeks on the MTB and when it gets a bit lighter earlier and drier I will start commuting the 16 miles each way twice a week.
I occasionally take our eldest out in the trailer too but that should be increasing now I have built up a bike for Mrs ache and our youngest is strong enough to come out too.

Usually once at the weekend (althiough the diary has been mysteriously filled for the next 2000 weekends I see!) and try to do one night ride per week. Thankfully, my new riding pals are understanding and are prepared to wait for me to get home before we go night riding.

Ride to work usually 4 days a week (35 mile round trip). Track riding usually 2hrs a week, sometimes 3. I've hardly been out at all on weekends recently, if I have it's just been 1-2hrs on the SS road bike.

well seeing as i live in Norway and its the winter i'm lucky to get 2 spinning sessions a week in. Havent ridden a real bike since early Dec.

3 days a week commmuting (75 miles), rest sat and ride 2/3 hours on a sunday, about the most i'm capable of at the minute

At the moment not having a job means I have quite a bit of time so I'm out everyday riding something at least once a day.
So far this week..
Sunday - DH race
Monday - 2 hour stint on dh bike
Tuesday - 1hr Road ride + night ride
Wed - 10 miles on the hack around town and 1 hr at the bmkx track
(plan) Thurs - dh ride at lunchtime and night ride
(plan) Fri - Road ride in am
(plan) Sat - Not sure yet quite possibly a dh day at wharncliffe.Posted 2 years ago #
