recently roade from 0 – 2000 and back to o (meters) thats my highest unassisted to date.

ive been at 3330m for a certain well known race, but i cant claim for a second that i got up there unassisted.

Somewhere between 4000 and 4500m in the Bale mountains of Ethiopia. Riding up was very, very hard work.

I think it was Tullu Demtu but I could be wrong.

Only counts if you ride up. Uplift is cheating.

Mosquito Pass, Colorado 13,185 ft. (4019m) I think is my highest

Its an off road pass which we road up and down, with panniers

On the same tour we also hit

    Pearl pass 12,705' (3,872 m)

    and

Tatlor pas also over 12,000 ft

Ton I don't like to complain but I think we need an altittude for your ride

i have ridden from Le Chable (821m) to col des Gentianes (2950m) when out in Verbier. Half the descent ie 1500 to 821 was done before the climb and the rest afterwards.

and i do mean i rode it all.

On the road I have done a 6000 ft climb and descent – never again. Offroad 2500 ft in Scotland – climb and descent.

On foot starting at 12000 ft and climb to 15000 ft then descend to 6000 ft.

    >Can't remember the exact height but a few rides on this trip started well above 10000ft,

It's about 1500m vertical down to Zermatt from Gornergrat.

Height's not everything – a beer at Findeln on the way down with "that view" takes a bit of beating 😉

Trail 401, Crested Butte, Colorado at 11,200 feet – started the trail at Crested Butte at 9,000 feet in beautiful sunshine, got into snow and lightning at the top above Schofield Pass – character building! And then back down to sunshine.

Great week of trails out there… <sighs>

Gunsight Pass, Crested Butte, Co which is 12,000 ft.

have to admit the last mile was probably walked as its a 3,000 ft climb. Climbed back on to crest the top though.

Descent wasn't great as it was pretty loose scree IIRC.

drain – I thought 403 was better. although the 403 followed by 401 was definitely my best day on a bike ever… 🙂
