Easy in W2K, XP, Vista but I am stumpted in Windows 7 Pro. My criteria are

    Date range (created)
    text string RF/
    *.doc
    location G:\

    Any ideas? Cheers 🙂

Allegedly if the index service is running then a search will include file contents as well as filenames. Can't test it as not on a Windows 7 pc at the moment.

Do yourself a favour and download Google Desktop. I disable the sidebar and just use the taskbar integrated search box. I don't even have a start button on my taskbar anymore…I just use the google search to open docs and apps etc…
