Anyway, sitting here just now minding my own business; and this comes wiggling along in the middle of the carpet.

WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY AND HOW CAN I GET RID?

Is it a baby slow-worm?

Could be baby eels, and they’ll crawl up yer anus while yer asleep….

Try feeding it bacon and see if it will grow.

No idea what it is but if it was my house it would be systematically stripped out and cleaned. About 2 minutes after finding that.
