am i being a bit thick, i need a 34.9mm top swing front mech for my new heckler that arrives tuesday,

i’m stripping my cotic soul next week which has a top swing xtr mech on it,

are all front mechs 34.9 then shimmed down to suit the other tube sizes ???

or am i being a bit of a retard ???

and no i cant the model number (it doesn’t say what it is on the original receipt)

My XT front mech is a 34.9 that came with a set of shims to fit narrower diameter seat tubes. I am 99% sure that all reasonably modern XTR is the same, so you should be fine.
