That feedback profile is shocking.. It’s like a who’s who of cycle-to-work scheme bikes, freshly nicked from unsuspecting clueless punters.

Bike thieves are scum, etc etc, but some people make their job too easy. Locking things up by the one wheel, only buying a pissant lock coz they spent all their allowance on the bike, leaving them in open back gardens or sheds tied up with bits of string, or locked to a railing in front of their house in a suburban side street by the seatpost….

I wonder if he will be better off after the budget? They never really covered money made from stolen bikes and it seems to be affecting more and more people!

My bro works for a large insurance company .
I might email him this guys details and see if he can cross reference claims to this list of swervy goodies. If he cant , then he might know someone who can .

you can’t just jump to conclusions, whats to say he doesn’t just buy and sell bikes. Or maybe they are part ex’s being sold from a LBS. I highly doubt he would still be on Ebay if the bikes were stolen…. someone would soon notice 😕

Most LBS round here refuse to take PX ‘s for liabilty and warrenty issues .

I have had a look at the ads , aand feedback etc.
I reckon hes a Halfords employee of some sort .
Either warrenty returns or distribution warehouse / delivery hub.
The photos and descriptions , some lifted from retailer websites are accurate . Some appear to be inside a clean , well painted house .
I dont think they are stolen to order , maybe ‘over ordered’ or bikes returned by customers with nit picky complaints or the wrong size perhaps.
Most are entry level , basic , almost catalogue bikes.
Then this chap either buys or obtains somehow for re – sale .
Not sure about the gopping Roubaix though.

Well he certainly doesn’t buy any on that account!

I reckon hes a Halfords employee of some sort .

Half of those (Canondales, Specializeds etc) aren’t Halfords stocked, and a few are clearly well used with wheels or tyres worn or worn out. There’s no cheapies in there either.

Plus, he won’t do collection… Why doesn’t he want his face known?
It may all be legit, but I don’t see how.

Lots of folk have sperate buying and selling accounts, saves the selling account from messing up the buying one!

Not that that stops this chap from potentially being dodgy, of course…

yeah.. cos all thieves are illiterate and live in squalor.. 🙄

he’s selling a phenomenal number of bikes.. I guess he can afford a cleaner..

Looking at the brands, I’d say he’s stealing them from based in London. Looks like a pick and mix of Cycle Surgery and Evans stock on the whole.

As mentioned above, looks like bike to work theft, or a scam perhaps. Either way, selling that many bikes? Dodgy as…..

yeah.. cos all thieves are illiterate and live in squalor..

On £23k he probably lives in a nicer home than me .
Compleate and Packaeged in a bike box, so maybe not so literate .
