    Legite reasons for this, I know it is possible to track a ride using a mobile phone.

    The question is whether it is possible to use a website for someone else to track a ride in realtime(or near enough). And what are the best ways of doing this.

    Does it make a difference if the phone is iOS or Android, and also what is the expected battery life?
