I'm after some new gloves to replace worn out Speshs. I've got some nice think winter gloves for proper cold riding, and some thin ones for summer, but now need some for those days when it's cold but not freezing cold, if that makes sense! What can you recommend – looking to spend maybe about £25? Cheers.

The new Specialized 2010 Deflect gloves are just what your looking for, quite thin but really good in cold and wet weather.

Nice thinnish padding too, I hate gloves with too much padding on the palms

Specialized web site only shows 2009 version

    2010 version HERE

Shop around and you'll get them for £25

I've got some 661 storm gloves, warm and not waterproof … come up small on the sizing though. Also got some sealskin MTB gloves, these are proving to be warm, waterproof and not too bulky considering.

I've got some Gill gloves – not waterproof/windproof or anything, but they are thick enough that they keep your hands warm down to a few degrees, but you can still feel all you need to on the bars.
    Have lasted ages too..
