Thinking of getting one, reviews seem good but thought I would see what any “real” users think of them?

Better bikes out there for the money IMO

What £1329 at Chainreaction for the AMR5700, for Fox forks, SLX/XT and Avid?

Better specc’ed for that price? Only vague downside is the X-Fusion rear shox but its not necessarily that bad.

Its a horst link, 120mm full suss. I don’t see how you can go wrong, especially at that price.

I agree, I just sold my entry level Ghost ASX4900, had it two years and it was great. Never broke, and it did get some use. I always liked the x-fusion shock on mine, with a bit of setting up when I first got the bike it has been great and never had to top up the pressure. I very nearly upgraded it with the 2011 AMR5700 at chain reactions but managed to find a great deal for a 2012 trance X2 for £1599, and opted for that instead.

The only thing on my wish list the AMR5700 has not got is through axle.
