Thinking of building my Swift SS frame up with a front mech. The problem is that there is no front mech cable stop to operate the mech. I'm sure I've seen on here other Swifts built up with a front mech so my question is how did you address the cable stop issue?

Is there some sort of aftermarket cable stop kit you can buy?

Is there a cablestop on the bottom of the bottom bracket shell? Was on my Peregrine.

Early swifts don't have that cable stop

Have a search on st john st cycles website, I'm sure they do a bolt on cable stop

I've used these before and unless you want to get one brazed on to the frame this is your only option AFIK

What Ken said. I've used it to gear my ss inbred in the past.
