We’ve had some plaster replaced near a window this morning but it’s gone like this. Is there a problem?

Looks like its dried too fast and crazed. Was it skimmed on to bonding by any chance?
If it doesn’t peel off with your fingers, fill the cracks with polyfiller, and paint over, it should be ok.

That ain’t right. Did the plasterer use regular, or holy water?

It’ll be fine, it’s just drying at a different rate across the wall.

[edit] I’ve had it with a skim across older plaster.

Looks to me that the first coat dried to quick and cracked and has then skimmed over the top.

I’m going to blame illegal immigrants, coming over here and something and stuff.
